The Worst. Press Release. Ever.

There will probably be others, and perhaps we'll hold a contest, but for now...This is. The worst. Press release. Ever.
I heart PRLog. I heart them forever, for posting this release and distributing it over their wires and actually allowing people to accidentally read it. It brightens even the most cantankerous of dispositions.
In short, TSW World Entertainment Network has a CEO. Tariq Alexander. Tariq Alexander has a couple friends. Namely, Joan and George Hornig. Joan, a bored housewife who whittles away the remains of her day making jewelry and using her husband's money to foist it on people, invited Tariq Alexander to their home in the Hamptons. They also invited on recommendation, some young wannabe performers to showcase their talent. Tariq Alexander, CEO of TSW (which stands for "The System Within," a business name fraught with meaning to Tariq Alexander and only to Tariq Alexander) wrote a press release about the party. Then he solicits your business at the end of it. And that's the news.
The worst. Press release. Ever.

  1. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with TSW. I've been using it myself for quite some time now and personally I love it. I've received a lot of helpful insight and tips that previously did not occur to me. I've also received various career and network opportunities that proved to be very useful. I've also spoke with others who have worked with the company in the past, including those I’ve recommended, all of whom have given positive feedback.

  2. I myself, am currently working with TSW (The System Within) and have no negativity or problems with their customer service nor company at all. Their company is very reliable, and are always available to answer any questions I may have. The main objective of the company is to connect and engage entertainers with careers in the entertainment industry. As of yet, I haven’t had any problems? Speaking through a perspective of working with TSW and being a customer, It's irrational that the press contradicts and defames TSW. It seems that short term people who are not fully involved with the company do not have an idea of what the company can accomplish for them especially for talented people. It’s obvious that a person would not become “famous” or “well known artist/models/ and talented person” in a fixed amount of days. It takes weeks, months, or years to be considered to be on a professional level not days. For people like myself who are involved with the company, and especially my friends that I have recommended who are not experiencing any issues to date This works for us... I will continue to use TSW till further notice. But I highly recommend people, especially those interested in joining the entertainment indisutry, to try TSW for the opportunity to further their career goals.

  3. Even though you believe the press release mentioned in the original post may not have been the most well written announcement of the Hamptons event, I fully support the spirit of what they were trying to accomplish. I have worked with TSW in the past and found it to be an incredibly helpful organization. They have always bent over backwards to help me with any problems or questions that I have encountered and have been a great resource for connections within the entertainment world. As mentioned by the poster above, the entertainment industry is incredible difficult to break into and having the resources of TSW at my disposal have made the audition process and the endless search for new contacts much easier. From my point of view, knowing the assistance that TSW has provided to me in the past, this event sounds like it was a wonderful opportunity for those involved to network and show off their talents. Although the press release did not relay what it was meant to, I think it is important to look beyond it to the important service that TSW is providing to its clients. I have fully enjoyed and appreciated the assistance I have received from Mr. Alexander and his company would urge others trying to break into entertainment to consider using TSW as a resource.

  5. I just quit the pricks. They are keeping young artists under lock and key in their mansion in south atlanta, working them the entire waking time and paying them 300 bucks a week. They still owe me money. They hired me salary for one querter my usual salry and told me when the beta went down they would raise my pay to whatever I asked. I tried to get some figures in writing and got a yard of BS. I tired once to leave when they were bullshitting me and TA grabbed me in a bear hug. I was the only one knew what the fuck was going on. They had 50 1024x1024 white etxtures when they could use 1 at 16x16. They had no lighting. The video is VRay renderiing..not 16ms per frame to do everything game engine video. They have no clue of the tech and penalize artists for not producing modules that would take professional studios a team and months. They expected after an upgrade to Mecanim..in beta still that I could have a two character multi clothed avatar with animations for all basic locomotion..over frikkin' night.. They want 5000 bucks of work for 500. Do not work for these people. They will phone you after 11 at night for BS you emailed them. they are incompetent and lack creativity. The mall they are doing is BS. There is nothing to it. I tried to get parkour running and hover racing and circus shit implemented but when they screwed me on money I fired them..this afternoon. I will have much joy in the morning collecting these scam artist posts from around the web and send it to him and one of the artists held hostage.

They are morally bereft and have corrupted momentum. I chewed them out on the final call and stood up for the young artists. I am a 40+ years in the business artist that holds records for sculpture and Olympics art installs (I am the artist that built The Great Fish in Buckhead Atlanta..the largest statue in the southeast US)
and have worked for some of the biggest money on the planet. I owe it to the youngsters who allow themselves to be devalued for their unique talents and love of art who get scammed by sweatshop routines like this.

Thanks for letting me vent. I hope you enjoyed the insider info.

    2. Thank you. Unfortunately, I got suckered into working for them, and just letting you know that as of 2014, they're still at it, especially preying on young artists.

    3. Not everyone makes it to the top..don’t be mad, because you couldn't climb anymore...so now you have no job, and no life, just plenty of time to stalk tswmall and remind yourself how you blew it.

    4. Sound like you got fired and feel some type of way. They went on 40 city tour releasing their movie and hired countless people on the way. How'd those people get paid, but you didn't? that's that broke mentality I guess. Get over it and stop being sooo salty. I see you post these fallacies all over the internet. Your life can't truly be this bleak.

  8. Tariq Alexander and his associates are under investigated by the FBI and FTC. I’d encourage you to remove all materials regarding TSW MALL & Tariq Alexander also better known as AKA “Terry” Alexander originally from North Carolina, NOT Brooklyn, NY.

Look for yourself, just type in:
    “Tariq Alexander Fraud”
    “TSWMALL Fraud”
    “TSWMALL Scam”

    1. I see why TSW doesn't rebuttal them. You guys are low life and not even worth the thought, but Oscar informed us that you are up to your same tricks, so we have made it our mission to put your ass on blast! I refuse to sit by and let you guys diminish this company because you were too incompetent to do your job.

  11. I have been a vendor TSW for over 12 years and all I can say is grow up. Your whole life can't be following tswmall around and watching them succeed. What did you team up with that basic report Wendy and plotted to destroy people lives. Your head is as hard as that broad's knees because that is the only way she is relevant. Is she still obsessed with Tariq? I heard that she was trying to give him top, but his status wouldn't allow him to belittle himself. He hangs out with billionaires why would he be caught up with Wendy. And as for you, because we all know who you are, get a job...start a life. Live on, because they have.

  13. SCAM! This place is a total rip off to anyone that gets involved with them, in any capacity, employee or vendor. They use illegal software to create their content, cobbling it together like a bad software patch-work quilt. They make every attempt to not pay their employees or pay them very little. The employees are scared of them because of their intimidation methods that include withholding pay, starvation, and working employees until exhaustion. It borderlines on kidnapping and slavery. They cater to a few vendors, so they can say they are doing a good job. They will take everyone else's money and give them as little as possible, stringing them along the way for more money. The mall concept is an old hat knock off of Half Life and not a very good one, at that. Any good responses that you read from Vendors, on any site, is most likely written by one of the PR scam artists' that work for them.
